WHY WE'RE DEDICATED TO WHOLE PERSON HEALING
We’re opening a Community Pharmacy & Apothecary in March 2024!
Opening in March 2024, our Community Pharmacy & Apothecary will provide medicine to the people through community medicine-making sessions, herbal workshops, medicine elder talks, and individual consultations.
This Sanctuary is a medicine space that will carry medicinal herbs from global ancestral healing traditions including Western herbalism, traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and ancestral medicines of the Latine, Asian, and African diaspora.
This Pharmacy & Apothecary will also serve as an educational hub that teaches community members how to make and grow their own medicines. We hope to incorporate education on integrative medicine approaches blending ancestral medicine with Western medical pharmacology.
ANCESTRAL HEALING FARM

We’re opening an Ancestral Healing Farm in May 2024!
The Ancestors’ Gardens is a living nature Sanctuary that helps our community reconnect back to land, back to Ancestors, and back to self. This Healing Farm Sanctuary is dedicated to the cultural preservation and cultivation of medicines of the global diaspora including but not limited to: Native & Ancestral Medicines of African, Latine, Asian, South Asian, and Arab diaspora.
We aim to host farm herb walks, healing ceremonies, farm immersions, cultural storytelling events, and more. We will not be farming for distribution but rather for healing immersion and land stewardship. Our farm is located 10 min from downtown Oakland. Our farm is located on a 0.5 acre parcel of land in Orinda on Fish Ranch Road, less than 10 minutes from downtown Oakland.
